Whether or not we admit it, some of us always want to know what’s going on with Will Smith and Jada, and Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds; we can’t help but smile when Jay-Z and Beyoncé light up our screens. Who better to top this list than Hollywood’s favorite power couple? The Carters have been married for 15 years and together for over 20 years, meeting when Bey was only 19 — some young love.
Like every relationship, theirs have not been without its trials, which is well chronicled in Beyoncé’s music, especially the album Lemonade. Still, no one inspires us to believe in love and friendship like the powerhouse couple. Whether on stage together singing “Deja Vu” or on the internet with a random photo of themselves, their love for each other is the proverbial light on the hill that cannot be hidden.
