In this real-life wedding crashing incident, the couple’s wedding took place in a historic building located in a state park near a campground. Unbeknownst to the couple, a group of campers passing by became intrigued by the festivities and decided to join in.
No One Recognized They Were out of Place

“We had no dress code, and lots of people had never met before, so no one apparently noticed some ‘extra guests’,” wrote the bride. The reception, held in the garden, was eventful with various mishaps, but amidst the chaos, nobody seemed to notice the uninvited guests mingling with the rest of the attendees.

After the reception, the couple discovered that one of the guests had left her purse behind. Knowing that the guest was camping nearby, the newlyweds offered to return the purse on their way out.

As they approached a group of campers walking back to the campground, one of the ladies complimented the bride on the delicious food and the beauty of the wedding. It became apparent that they had attended the wedding, enjoyed the reception, and were now making their way back to their campsite. “I was still in my dress, so they knew who I was. Bold as brass!”

To the couple’s surprise, they later discovered pictures of the uninvited guests participating in various wedding moments. It was evident that the crashers had a fantastic time, immersing themselves in the joyous celebration, seemingly unnoticed by the majority of guests.

The bride admitted to being distracted on the big day, which is possibly why she missed out on spotting the surprise guests. “DJ’s equipment malfunctioned, breaking up squabbling bridesmaids, keeping kids from falling into the river… but that’s another story,” she wrote.

The OP (Original Poster) went on to write, “We went to check into the hotel that night, still in tux and gown. The hotel is also historic, and the lobby has very pretty murals and decor. As we walked up to the desk and were checking in, the lobby was packed with another wedding reception taking place. I was trying to hide behind my husband because I didn’t want to interrupt, but the other bride was glaring daggers at me the whole time we were at the desk.”
