“I got married at Safari Park,” shared one. “We were overlooking the gorgeous hills where they had the tram tour. In the distance, you could see the giraffes and rhinoceroses.
They offer an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, meals, and even an animal experience during cocktail hour. I can’t recommend Safari Park enough!”
2. The Downtown Library

The third floor of the downtown library holds a gorgeous atrium with a balcony that overlooks everything.
One elaborated, “My husband and I stood on the balcony with the minister, and the acoustics made it, so we didn’t need a microphone. We brought all of our food and desserts. The space was gorgeous and reasonably priced.
3. The Japanese Friendship Garden

“I’ve never seen a more incredible spot than the Japanese Friendship Garden,” confessed another. They explained that it has a stunning koi pond in the background, making every photo breathtaking.
There is even an event building next door, so you can host an outdoor wedding while still having an indoor reception and dinner. It is definitely on the more expensive side, but the views are worth it.
4. The Rancho Bernardo Inn

“The Rancho Bernardo Inn was a beautiful venue for my wedding,” claimed one. She explained that the staff was accommodating and consistently ensured everyone needed what they needed. The outdoor lawn space was a wonderful backdrop in the wedding photos. It was a great experience altogether.

Another admitted, “When I got married, I fell in love with Hotel Del. We rented two bungalows and had the ceremony on the porch at sunset. The employees went so far as to set up twenty chairs on the deck for our guests.
We only used some candles and flowers as decorations. Still, the gorgeous view and decor were enough to make for a magnificent ceremony.”

Finally, people shared that Cuvier Park has an area known as the Wedding Bowl. This area holds gorgeous greenery and enough seating for an intimate wedding.
The edge of the lawn overlooks the water. Though the park is open to the public, the Wedding Bowl is set far enough away from the path that the passing people do not distract from the ceremony.
